Kunsthall Trondheim

Kunsthall Trondheim is the largest international arena for contemporary art in Trondheim and the Trøndelag region. Through our exhibitions and public programmes, we engage with the local scene, introduce leading international artists as well as overlooked positions, and connect to a large and diverse audience. Kunsthall Trondheim offers a varied programme of mediation for children and young people, workshops, concerts, performances, film screenings and lectures.

The Kunsthall opened its doors to the public in 2016 in the former fire station in downtown Trondheim, after a three-year pilot period in a temporary space. The Kunsthall was founded on initiative of Trondheim kommune and Trøndelag fylkeskommune, who, alongside Ministry of Culture, are our main funders.
